When will the conference take place? Where is it located?
The International Battery Production Conference 2023 will take place from 7th till 9th of November at the Steigenberger Parkhotel Braunschweig. On November 9th you can participate in our seminars on battery production.
Do I have to register for the conference beforehand?
Advance registration is required. Please register via our homepage (registration). You can choose from different offers. Registration will open im June 2023.
How do I reach the venue?

Where can I park my vehicle?
A large number of parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the event location. More information can be found at the website of the Steigenberger Parkhotel Braunschweig.
Who can attend the conference?
The conference offers interested parties from industry, politics and science an international exchange and networking platform. In principle, anyone who is interested in the area of battery production can participate in the conference and the seminars. 300 participants are expected to attend.
How much does it cost to attend the conference?
The participation fee varies depending on the selection from the conference offer. Please refer to the registration form for the registration price and the different discount factors. Participation in the guided tour through the Battery LabFactory Braunschweig and participation in the evening events can be booked on registration. To register for all selection options, please use the registration form.
How and when will I receive the invoice for the event?
The invoice will be sent to you by email after your registration to the billing address you have provided. Please pay only after receipt of the invoice.
Will there be catering?
During the entire conference drinks and small snacks are available free of charge for conference participants. The conference price also includes two lunches and participation in the evening event.
Is there a particular dress code?
No. Our experience shows, however, that business to business casual is preferred at conferences and smart casual at seminars.
Until when can I cancel my registration?
A free cancellation is possible until 31.08.2023, after that a processing fee of 30€ will be charged for a cancellation until 30.09.2023. If you cancel after this period or fail to attend the event, you are obliged to pay the full event fee. In the event of prevention, the BLB will accept a replacement participant at no additional cost.
When do I know if my submission has been accepted?
The Session Chairs and the Scientific Advisory Board select the presentations and posters. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be communicated by the end of July/August. Please refrain from inquiries before this time.
Can I change the timing of my presentation?
Unfortunately not. Due to the size of the conference it is not possible to consider individual requests for placement within the conference programme. Please refrain from such requests.
Can I bring an unannounced poster?
All contributions received were reviewed by the Scientific Advisory Board and the accepted contributions notified. Since the space for the poster exhibition is limited, we cannot put up any additional posters.
Can I have my poster printed and hung up on site?
If you need a printing service, please contact the event organisation by 16th of October at info@battery-production-conference.de.
Can the conference organiser help me with travel and accommodation?
The organisation of the conference provides detailed information on how to get there via the conference website. We recommend to stay at the conference hotel for your convenience. Furthermore, for capacity reasons, the conference organisation cannot support you either organisationally (travel and stay) or financially. Please contact your own organisations to determine to what extent they will provide financial support for the travel expenses you incur.
